Everyone knows a Buddhist.
They are known as the tolerant peace seekers, finding Nirvana through the emptying of self. Movies show them as unstoppable kung-fu monks. The news portrays them as self-sacrificial activists of peace. We know them as our friends, classmates, and neighbors. They are Buddhists.
Some of them shave their heads and wear orange robes. Others look just like everyone else. So what does it mean to be a Buddhist? How might they view Christians, and what avenues do we have of sharing the Gospel with them? Join us this Friday as we are joined by a former Buddhist and hear his story of finding faith in Jesus.
