Missions is cross-cultural ministry making disciples of Jesus Christ through missions partnerships placing emphasis on underserved communities. We define these communities as below:
- Ethnic or sociological group of people who perceive themselves to have a common affinity for one another and, for evangelization purposes, is the largest group within which the Gospel can spread as a church-planting movement without encountering barriers of understanding or acceptance.
- A group among which there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize this people group. Evangelical Christians on average make up less than 2% of the UPG’s population.
We meet once each month as a Committee also once each month to intercede for our international partners. MissionsCommittee@JourneyEC
